What we collect when you use this website, why, who else is involved, and what you can ask us to do with it. In plain words.
01Who we are
This website is run by Anurag Studio, Mumbai, India ("we", "us"). If you have a question about your data, write to utkarsh@anuragstudio.com. Utkarsh Mishra, our founder and director, answers these personally and is our grievance officer under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
02What we collect, and why
When you send a brief
The contact form asks for your name, company, what you need, your one-sentence brief, when you'd like it live, and a phone number or email. We use these only to reply to you and to prepare a quote. The form is emailed to us and a copy is kept on our web server so a brief is never lost.
When you apply for a role
The audition form on our careers page asks for your name, city, the roles you're interested in, links to your work, a note, and a phone number or email. We use these only to consider you for work with us.
When you use a free tool
Missed-Lead Calculator: runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or anyone else. If you copy the result link, the numbers are in that link.
Website Speed Check and AI Visibility Check: we receive the web address you enter, and our server fetches that site's public pages (the page itself, robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap.xml) to run the checks. We don't keep the pages. The Speed Check also sends the address to Google's PageSpeed Insights service for Lighthouse scores.
When you message or call us
WhatsApp, phone and email links open your own apps. Those conversations are handled under WhatsApp's, your phone carrier's and your email provider's terms, and we keep them as business correspondence.
03Analytics and cookies
We only use Google Analytics if you say yes on the consent bar. Until then, nothing is loaded and no analytics cookies are set. If you agree, Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) that tell us which pages people visit and which buttons they press, so we can make the site better. You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page.
We also store a few small settings in your browser's local storage: your consent choice, whether you turned site sounds on, and whether you've seen the opening countdown. They never leave your device. Every one is listed in our cookie policy.
05How long we keep it
We keep briefs and the conversations that follow for as long as we're talking about a project, and for up to two years after that so we can pick up where we left off. Job applications are kept for up to twelve months so we can come back to you when a role opens, then deleted. If you become a client, we keep project records as long as the law requires for accounts and tax. Ask us and we'll delete anything we don't have to keep.
06Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw consent you've given, and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Write to utkarsh@anuragstudio.com and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
07Keeping it safe
The site runs over HTTPS, the folder that holds briefs is closed to the public, and only the studio's team can read them.
08Children
This website is for businesses. It isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
09Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
